I was lucky enough to be raised in a family of educators and caregivers, and started babysitting on my own at 11 to save money for college. After babysitting and nannying throughout my teens and early twenties, I started a corporate career. However, I realized that caregiving work was what fed my soul and also allowed me to build community, shape lives and have a positive impact on children and families. After doing this work full time again for more than five years, I wanted to expand my knowledge base so that I could do more to serve my community, and began training as a birthworker and doula. I am now certified as a labor and birth doula, abortion doula and have completed my postpartum doula training as well. I am also fully trained in infant, child and adult CPR and first aid. I am eager to help you and your family and be an advocate for you in whatever way is needed.

As a birthworker and doula, I am committed to facilitating support and building community for all my clients. I will validate, respect and care for others as I work to expand justice and rights for them. I am motivated to be open and honest in this work and always be aware that there is more to learn - from myself, my clients and my teachers.
